Incredible Care and Results with Dr. Katherine Shields I woke up at just after midnight on a Tuesday morning in excruciating neck and nerve pain that immobilised the right side of my upper body. The pain was so bad that I was dry reaching and shaking uncontrollably. My right ear was practically connected to my shoulder, my right arm frozen in place and my chin connected to my chest (It was a sight to behold). I was unable to work, drive, or even manage walking from my bed to the bathroom. Dr. Katherine Shields came to my rescue with a home visit Tuesday evening (Day 1). Her gentle manipulation and laser therapy worked wonders. By Wednesday morning (Day 2), I could move and use my right arm again! She returned for a second home visit on Wednesday evening, and by Thursday evening (Day 3), the improvement was remarkable. While I still needed to rest intermittently, my neck was unlocked from its angled position and I was able to centre my head, move more freely, and go back to gentle house hold chores. By Friday morning (Day 4), I felt 95% back to normal and was able to go away for the long weekend. Just a few days after being completely incapacitated and in a world of pain. Since then Dr Katherine has discovered associating ailments connected to my neck such a lower back and hip issues which she continues to treat. Dr. Shields’ professionalism, expertise, and care are nothing short of amazing. I cannot recommend her enough!
